Rex Websites offers a highly configurable, template-based website solution designed specifically for real estate agencies. While you have a wide range of options to customise your website content and branding, itโs important to understand the difference between content changes (which you can make yourself) and structural changes (which are fixed due to the nature of the platform).
๐งฉ Why This Matters
Because Rex Websites is a templated solution (rather than a custom-built site), it allows you to launch quickly with beautiful design and powerful functionality built in. However, this also means we donโt offer custom development or layout changes outside the available configuration options.
โ Content Changes (Editable by You)
You can make the following changes directly through your Rex Websites admin panel:
- Edit text on content pages, blog posts and team profiles
- Upload and manage media, such as images and homepage videos
- Change brand colours and upload your logo
- Control featured listings and listing display settings
- Create and customise forms
- Update menus and navigation
- Edit your tagline, site name and footer details
๐ Check out the other articles in this help centre for step-by-step guidance on each of these areas.
๐ซ Structural Changes (Not Supported)
The following changes fall outside the scope of what can be modified on Rex Websites:
- Changing the layout or positioning of structural elements (e.g. moving the logo to the centre of the header)
- Adding custom animations or interactive effects
- Creating entirely new page templates or layouts not already included
- Applying fonts, colours or components not supported by your selected theme
- Embedding complex third-party systems or scripts beyond supported integrations
๐ Why This Approach?
Our templated approach is designed to give you the best of both worlds:
- โ A polished, mobile-friendly site built for real estate
- โ Easy-to-use tools for day-to-day content changes
- โ Regular platform updates rolled out to all users
- โ Protection from instability caused by unsupported modifications
If youโre not sure whether a specific change is possible, reach out to our support team โ weโre happy to help clarify.
