The Listing Search Settings in Rex Websites allow you to customize how property listings are displayed and searched on your website. You can adjust available views, search filters, and price increments to enhance user experience.
Firstly, login to your Rex Websites Admin panel.
1. Adjust Available Views
- Go to Settings > Listings Search Settings.
- Under Available Views, choose how listings are displayed:
- Show gallery view
- Show list view
- Show map view
- Select a default view from the dropdown menu.
- Optional settings:
- Preserve aspect ratio of listing images
- Mark listing as "New" for a set number of days
- Set default order for sold listings
- Click Save to apply changes.
2. Set Up Basic Filters
- Under Basic Filters, configure options such as:
- Availability default value
- Buy/lease toggle
- Price range, bedrooms, bathrooms, car spaces
- Suburb search, listing type, category, property ID
- Build area, land area, features, agency
- Select default values where applicable.
- Click Save to update the filters.
3. Customize Advanced Filters
- Expand the Advanced Filters section.
- Enable or disable filters like:
- Only show new homes
- Only show listings with auctions
- State (AU) or region (NZ)
- Tags and features
- Click Save to finalize settings.
4. Set Custom Price Increments
- Under Custom Price Increments, enter increment values for:
- Sales price (e.g., 50,000, 100,000, 150,000)
- Rental price (e.g., 50, 100, 150, 200)
- Click Save to apply the pricing increments.
