Your homepage is a templated webpage, made up of blocks. You can add, remove and edit these blocks - and they all have different functions. See below for how to add and remove these blocks.
- Log into your Rex Websites Admin panel.
- Click into Appearance > Homepage Styles.
- To add a block, click 'Add Block'. You can then choose what type of block you wish to add.
- To delete a block, hover over the block you wish to delete and click the pencil icon. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and click 'Delete Block'.
- If you wish to hide a block from your homepage, but not delete it, simply hover over the block and click the slashed eye icon.
- If you wish to edit the content of the block, hover over the block you wish to edit and click the pencil icon.
Each block has different possibilities. See below for the different functions of each block.
- Launchpad - You can choose between 2-4 boxes with images to link to URLs on or off the site.
- Content Block - You can add written content which can be accompanied by an image.
- Listings Slider - Pulls through your listings and displays them on a carousel.
- Banner - Allows you to add an image with a title/subtitle taking up the full block.
- Testimonials - Displays your testimonials in a carousel format.
- Staff - Displays your staff in a carousel format.
- Blogs - Displays your blog posts in a carousel format.
- Logos & Attribution - You can add images to display without links - typically used for awards or affiliations.
- Map - Displays a map with your chosen long/latitude.
- Quick Links - Allows you to link URLs to a block for ease of access.
- Banner Embed - If you wish to embed an externally sourced banner then you can do so through this block.
